Pre-Travel Checklist for Zelement Club Bali​

You just read the Zelement Guide to Bali. Awesome!  Now, this is a summary in checklist form to make it easier for you to prepare for your journey and arrival in Bali.

Before You Leave

  • ​Download and Install WhatsApp on your mobile phone you will be using while here in Bali.
    • Send us your phone number. ZelementClub@gmail.com
  • Send us your flight info. ZelementClub@gmail.com
  • Get an international phone plan OR an unlocked smartphone.
  • Notify your banks that you are traveling to Indonesia.
  • Verify that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your travel date.
  • Proof of your exit ticket from Indonesia
  • Get a AAA International Driver's License.
  • Get a Travel Insurance Policy. 
  • Make a packing list of items you must have (medicines, passports, ATM cards, etc.)
  • Download and Setup the GoJek app on your mobile phone https://www.go-jek.com/go-food/ 
  • Download and Install the My Blue Bird taxi app on your mobile phone you will be using while here in Bali.​​
  • Determine your Visa strategy. If you are not buying a VOA (i.e., staying in Indonesia less than 30 days) OR you already have acquired a Visa in your passport, go directly to the immigration line. If you are staying between 30-60 days, stopping at the VOA counter is likely your best option. Check the requirements for your country.

At the Airport

  1. Move quickly from the plane to the immigration line as many big planes often arrive at around the same time and lines can get long. Take your bathroom break on the plane before landing or after you go through immigration (passport check). 
  2. Get Money from the ATM (For Reference 2.000.000 IDR is about $150 USD)
  3. Find your Driver at Kantin Kafe​
  4. Get some water or other beverages and snacks for the drive from the convenience store near Kantin Kafe
  5. Send us a WhatsApp letting us know you are on the way to Zelement Club. We aim to be home to greet you so if you plan to make any stops along the way, let us know.
