It is our pleasure to extend this special invitation to you to stay with us in our beautiful Bali home.
Our home is called Pritidaya, which is a Sanskrit word meaning "A gift made with Love." When people ask how much it costs to stay with us, we answer "It’s a Gift Economy!" The Gift Economy is a new concept for most people (including us!) so we created this page to explain what it is and why we operate this way, to answer common questions, and to ease any tension that may arise when wondering if you are "doing it right".

This means that as our friend and guest, you decide for yourself what feels right based on your experience staying with us, your financial situation, and your excitement to support us to continue giving this gift to others.
We have chosen this model because we have found it’s the one that allows us to give our gifts as freely and joyfully as possible. We have also seen how it allows for creativity and expansion beyond our wildest expectations and we believe in the power of generosity and gratitude as a means of creating deep, long-lasting, and expansive connections.

Your gift helps us in so many ways. We rely on the gifts we receive in order to cover all of the operating costs of our home as well as supporting us to live vibrant lives so we can best host and guide those who stay with us.
In addition we have a big vision of growing our space and expanding our offerings so we can share even more love with even more people...
...Imagine a big open space to practice yoga, meditation, dance and kirtan with breezes blowing, the sound of leaves rustling and birds chirping. This is a place where teachers can come share their expertise and hold workshops, trainings, and courses.
Smell and taste beautiful, delicious, healthy, fresh locally sourced food and drinks, always available.
Feel the sway of hammocks tucked away in peaceful places. Feel soft grass beneath your feet.
See a fleet of scooters ready for you to ride, and a collection of local cell phones for you to use while you stay with us.
Smile at the friendly drivers who joyfully take you around town, day or night.
Feel the warmth of a hot tub and healing delight of a cold plunge pool overlooking a river. Imagine a sauna, steam room and float tank right next to our massage rooms.

The simple truth is this: You can’t get it wrong. We have been gifted everything from verbal expressions of gratitude, physical gifts, financial contributions, and even the very villa in which we now live and host our gifts. We do this because we love it and anything you choose to contribute supports us to keep doing what we love. In short, give what you feel inspired to gift rather than what you feel you "should" gift.
